According to the Swedish Work Environment Authority’s regulation (Arbetsmiljöverket), anyone using a lift must be familiar with the work and have both theoretical and practical knowledge for safe use—in practice, solid lift training. This course gives you the knowledge you need to work safely with your mobile elevating work platform. The course grants the A1, A3, B1 and B3 authorisations, which cover the vast majority of lifts used today.
The course follows the Lift Training Council’s (LUR) Lift Training Curriculum (LLP) and complies with the international standard SS-ISO 18878:2013 (Mobile elevating work platforms — Operator training).
Previously completed a basic course with practical training. Previous competence card (plastic card) can be emailed to [email protected].
In short: EVERYONE who uses a mobile elevating work platform (lift) at work must be trained on that lift. Not only the operator, but also any passenger. The person issuing the operating permits must also be able to present proof of appropriate training—being a manager alone is not sufficient. We also recommend the course for supervisors and safety representatives, as well as those who plan and/or are involved in safety around the use of the lift.
